New Service: be scam-savvy and password smart
This new consulting service is for individuals, especially seniors.
It is a personal consulting session, delivered in your home, to help you become scam-savvy and password safe.
This is for you if you are any of the following:
worried you could get scammed
concerned your passwords may be weak
not using a password manager
not confident with technology
not sure if you are using 2FA on all your important accounts
not sure if your devices are up to date
wanting personal help to make sure you are getting your online security basics right
There is a lot of good quality and free advice online to help with all the above, but many people lack the confidence to sort through that information and apply it in their lives.
This service provides in-person and in-home advice to help you become confident in spotting scams and generally being safer online, delivered by me, Andrew Thompson-Davies.
Pricing and Availability:
This in-home service is available for $150 for homes that are within 10km driving distance of central Invercargill.
For those that live more than 10km out from central Invercargill there will be a travel charge (in addition to the $150 fee) of $2.00 per km, each way. This fee covers the both the cost of car use and travel time.
Sessions are available between 9am and 5pm most days, including Saturdays and Sundays.
Ongoing (post-initial session) remote support is available in 15 minute blocks, charged at $37.50 per 15 minutes. This ongoing support can be delivered by phone or email, or if you prefer, by online video meeting.
Follow-up in-home sessions are also available, for a minimum charge of $150 for up to one hour, and thereafter charged at an extra $37.50 for each extra 15 minutes. So, for example, an 1 hour 25 minute session would be charged at $225.
Travel is also charged for follow-up in-home sessions the same as described above i.e. $2.00 per km each way for addresses more than 10km out from central Invercargill.
